Still Standing Records is a small independent record label based in Sunderland, UK. It was founded in 2009 by music producer Leon Thompson. The label focuses on releasing Electronica/Dance music specifically for the digital market. Its name came from a personal double meaning, the first was that Leon had been trying for so long to get into the music industry and was not going to give up, and secondly was his music isn't something you can sit down to. It simply gives you the energy to get up and dance and it keeps you there! The label's roster maybe expandable in the future but currently only includes Leon because it wasn't the label's intention to sign more artists to it, due to it only being created to release his material.
